
The frangipani oil is extracted from the flowers of the frangipani plant. It is universally known as plumeria. Plumerias are beautiful, tropical plants and are native to warm, climatic areas. These flowers are also used for decorative purposes such as in flower arrangements and for medicinal purposes. It is preferably in dry, sandy soil with full exposure to sunlight. There are about 100 different varieties of Plumeria and comes in a vast range of stunning, saturated colors. Which ranges from white, pink, yellow and multiple pastes to deep red. The perfumes of plumeria flowers are strong and delicious. Frangipani oil is prepared by cold depression or solvent extraction, and the pure oil is highly concentrated. It is alcohol free and long lasting. It compliments very well with other flower oils that are blended with it. They are usually found in multitude in the Pacific Islands, South America, the Caribbean and Mexico, most especially in Vanuatu and Hawaii.
