At an interval of 15 days this plant can be harvested successfully for a period of three to four months in a year.

Extraction Process

The bark of this plant is cut at least 2 inches deep for the extraction of its oil. The liquid which comes from the bark when it gets cut is used to turn into resin. Steam distillation technique is adopted for the extraction of oil after removing the globules of the resin.
